today, we're gonna talk about suggestion and offering. you want to know, right? let's go come inside my blog 🤜🏻🤛🏻

Suggestion

Suggestion : - Asking suggestion
                       - Giving suggestion
                       - Accepring suggestion
                       - Declining suggestion

suggestion : lf we make a suggestion, it means that we mention a possible course of action to someone. There are a number of expressions which we can use to make suggestion.

Asking for suggestions :
Shall I / we + Verb 1
example : - shall we go home early today ?
                  - What shall i say to my parents ?
                  - what should I do ?
                  - do u have any suggestion?
                  - what do you recommend ?

Giving suggestion :
could
example : ▪︎ you could go home early
                   ▪︎ you could get a new job
might
example : ▪︎ you might tell your problem to your parents
Should
example : ▪︎ you should see the doctor.
                   ▪︎ finish your work immediately

How about / what about + -ing?
example : ▪︎ How about starting a book club ?
                   ▪︎ what about opening ur present now ?

How about + Present simple ?
example : A : How about I pick you up at eight o'clock on my way to the airport ?
                  B : Great i'll see u then.

How about and what about + noun phrase
example : A: Are u hungry ?
                   B: yeah, how about some lunch?

We often find It in advertising :
why not... ? and why don't .. ?
example : • why not treat yourself to a meal at the icon restaurant ?
                   • u take a break in the south west ?

To mave a specific suggestion :
example : ~ u look really tired. Why don't u take some time out and rest?

Let's ... and Let's not...
example : ~ let's call Michael and see if he knows how to fix it.

Accepting Suggestion
example : - sure, why not ?
                   - sure, let's do it then.
                   - yeah, that's a good idea.

Declining Suggestion
example : - maybe some other time.
                   - sorry, I can't go
                   - i don't think it's a good idea.


Offering

Offering : - giving offer
                  - accepting offer
                  - Declining offer

Offering : If we make an offers expressions which we can use to make offering

Giving offers
example : ~ can / may i help you?
                   ~ would you like to...?
                   ~ what can i do for you? 

Accepting offers
example : ~ yes, i'd love to
                   ~ sure, thank you
                   ~ that's very kind of you

Declining offers
example : ~ thank you for your kindness, but i can't handle it
                  ~ i'm sorry, i can't
                  ~ thank you, but i'm busy at this moment
