What is "Passive Voice" ?

The Passive Voice is used to show the person or object ghag experiences an action rather than the person or object that performs an action.


The most inportant thing or person beckmes the subject of the sentence.


Passive Vouce is often used in formal texts

> switching to the passive voice make your writing clearer and easier to read.


Active Voice > the reporter announced the news.

Forming The Passive Voice "to be" + past participle (V3)

Passive Voice > the news is announced by the reporter.


Passive Voice in different tenses

• simple present > the news is announced by the reporter everyday.

• present continuous > the news is being announced by the reporter at the momen.

• simple past > the news was announced by the reporter last week.

• past continuous > the news was being announced by the reporter yesterday.

• present perfect > the news has been announced by the reporter since last week.

• past perfect > the news had been announced by the reporter before i was here.

• future > the news will be announced by the reporter tomorrow.

• Present conditional > the news would be announced by the reporter if they had.

• infinitive > the news must be announced by the reporter before we arrive.

Explanation text itself is a text that contains processes or things related to natural phenomena, social phenomena, science, politics, culture, and so on. Report text is a type of text that has the function of providing information or knowledge about an event or situation after the situation is investigated and through various considerations. The use of Passive voice in the text is intended as a variation of sentence form and an affirmation of the meaning of the sentence that focusses more on explaining and describing a process of events. so, this is passive voice. hope you understand what i mean. always happy for y'all, be healthy pls.
